Daingerfield is located in the Northeastern part of Texas in Morris County. We are the fourth oldest town in Texas and the oldest in Morris County! Daingerfield offers many great attractions including Daingerfield State Park. Daingerfield State Park is a wonderful place that includes a lake, cabins and campsites, playground and walking trails all surrounded by piney woods. It is a pleasant place to camp, fish, swim, and picnic. Throughout the year, Daingerfield has several community events. During the fall we host Daingerfield Days during which we have many activities such as cook-offs, a street dance, carnival, parade, a 5-K run, and much more. Our Christmas Parade and Music in the Park starts off our winter holidays, and the annual Easter Egg Hunt brings in Spring. Daingerfield has a historic dollar movie theater, The Morris Twin Cinema. It is very rare that you will find such a gem of a small town. Come visit Daingerfield and see for yourself! You will be glad you did!
